Terms of service
The deal between you and us, in the words we would use out loud.
Last updated 8 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Loman Group LLC, which builds and runs Fylgja. By using Fylgja you accept them. If you do not, do not use it. How we handle your information is a separate page: the privacy policy, which is part of this agreement.
What Fylgja is
Fylgja is one assistant that works across the Google accounts you connect to it. It reads your mail and calendars, writes you a brief on a schedule, drafts replies in your style, and takes actions in those accounts within the permissions you set. It acts through your own connections, as you.
It runs on Claude, made by Anthropic. It is not a person, it does not know things it has not been told or read, and it is wrong sometimes.
This is early access
Fylgja is invitation-only and early. That has consequences and we would rather write them down than have you discover them.
- — Features can change or disappear. We may add limits, change how something behaves, or remove a capability you were using.
- — There is no promised uptime, no support commitment and no maintenance window we owe you. It runs on one server.
- — We may stop the service altogether. If we do, we will give you as much notice as we reasonably can and a way to get your data out.
- — The software is free during early access. That will not last forever. When there are paid plans we will tell you what they cost before you are asked to pay, and you can walk away instead.
Your accounts and your connections
Your login is yours. Do not share it, and tell us if you think someone else has it.
When you connect a Google account you are granting Fylgja permission to act in it. Only connect accounts you are allowed to connect. If a mailbox belongs to an employer or a client, make sure their rules permit it — that is your call to make, not ours. You can withdraw a connection at any time from the settings, or from your Google account permissions.
You keep everything of yours. Your mail, your calendar, your documents, what you type and what the assistant writes for you are yours. We claim no ownership of any of it. We use it only to run the service for you, as the privacy policy describes. Fylgja itself — the software, the name and the site — stays ours.
Model usage and your API key
Fylgja does not charge you for the software during early access. What the model costs is separate.
You bring your own Anthropic API key. When you have given us one, every request Fylgja makes for you runs on your key: Anthropic bills you directly at their prices, your agreement with Anthropic governs that usage, and we take no part of it and no cut. If your key stops working, or you run out of credit with Anthropic, Fylgja stops working until you fix it.
Until you give us a key, requests run on ours and we pay for them. We may ask you to add your own, and we may limit or stop your usage while it runs on our key. Do not treat that as an entitlement.
There is a daily spending limit on how much model usage Fylgja will make on your behalf. It exists to catch runaway costs and it is not a guarantee: you are responsible for what your own key spends.
It acts as you, so you are responsible for it
This is the most important clause on the page. Anything Fylgja does in your accounts — a mail it sends, an invitation it creates, a label it applies, a document it writes — is done under your own connection and appears to everyone else as something you did. In law and in practice, it is something you did.
You choose the permissions for each workspace and you approve the actions that are not automatic. You are responsible for both choices. Read a draft before you approve it. The assistant can misunderstand you, invent a detail, or act on a mail that was itself misleading, and an approval you give it is yours.
Do not use Fylgja anywhere a mistake is unrecoverable, and do not rely on it for advice that needs a professional — legal, medical, financial or otherwise.
What you may not do with it
- — Break the law with it, or use it to harass, deceive, impersonate or threaten anyone.
- — Send bulk or unsolicited mail, or anything the recipients did not agree to receive.
- — Connect a workspace you do not have permission to connect, or use it to reach data you are not allowed to reach.
- — Use it in a way that breaks Google's or Anthropic's terms. Those apply to you as well as to us.
- — Attack the service, work around its limits or its permission checks, or try to reach other people's data.
- — Resell it, or run it as a service for other people, without our written agreement.
- — Let anyone under 18 use it. Fylgja is for adults at work.
If you do any of this we can suspend or close your access, and if the harm is ongoing we can do it without notice.
No warranty
Fylgja is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be available, correct, timely, secure or fit for anything in particular, and we disclaim the implied warranties — merchantability, fitness for a purpose, non-infringement — as far as the law allows.
In particular: the assistant's output can be wrong, a scheduled job can fail to run, a brief can miss something that mattered, and a connection can drop without either of us noticing. Keep your own eyes on anything that matters.
What we are liable for
To the extent the law allows, Loman Group LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, for lost profits, lost business, lost data or reputational harm, arising out of your use of Fylgja — including anything the assistant sends, changes or deletes in your workspaces, and including model usage billed to you.
Our total liability to you for any claim is capped at what you paid us for Fylgja in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater. During early access you pay us nothing, so that cap is one hundred dollars.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Ending it
You can stop at any time. Disconnect your Google accounts, remove your Anthropic key, and write to us to have everything deleted. We will delete it.
We can end or suspend your access if you break these terms, if we have to for legal or security reasons, or if we shut the service down. Except where something urgent forces our hand, we will tell you first and give you a chance to get your data out.
After access ends we delete your data on request, and we keep only what we must for legal or accounting reasons. The privacy policy sets out how long things live in the ordinary course.
The rest
Changes to these terms
We can change them. The date at the top moves, and for anything that materially affects you we will email you before it takes effect. If you keep using Fylgja after that, you have accepted the new version. If you do not like it, stop and ask us to delete your data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [state or country to be set by Loman Group LLC], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that place have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
Odds and ends
If a clause here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. Not enforcing something once does not waive it. You may not transfer this agreement to someone else; we may transfer it if the business is sold. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us about Fylgja.
