Briefs

A brief before you start

Two briefs are ready to add with one click. The morning inbox brief runs every weekday at 7am and covers the last 24 hours of each connected inbox. The day-ahead calendar brief runs at 5:30pm the evening before each working day. Both arrive as a push notification and an email.

Drafting

Drafts in your writing style

A reply that commits you to something is not a job for autocomplete. When Fylgja does not know what you want to say, it asks. When the mail is routine and you have said it may, it writes a draft first and shows it to you.

Permissions and approvals

Every kind of action gets one of four answers, per account: do it, do it and tell me, ask me first, or never. Anything set to ask files an approval and waits. You see what it would do, in full, before you accept it.

Context

Memory and preferences

Two different things, both yours to read and edit. Preferences are standing instructions you set: how to write, whether it may draft replies, when to stay quiet. Memory is the durable facts it picks up as you work: who your people are, how each business runs, what you have decided before.

Cost

You can see the bill forming

Assistants that work on their own are easy to lose track of. Every request Fylgja makes to the model is recorded with its cost at the moment it is made, including the ones that fail, and a cap you set stops the day when it is reached.

Connections

What it can reach

Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Docs, connected once per account through Google's own sign-in, plus web search and reading. If you run your own tool servers you can add them and they show up alongside the rest.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I talk to it?

In the web app. You can install it to your home screen and it will push notifications to your phone, but there is no native app yet and no way to reach it from a chat tool.

Can I write my own scheduled work, or only the two briefs?

You can write your own. Say what you want and when, in plain English, and it becomes a scheduled run. Nothing may run more often than every 15 minutes, and you can have up to ten scheduled at a time.

What are my own tool servers?

If you have an internal service that speaks the Model Context Protocol, you can point Fylgja at it and its tools become available like the built-in ones. They go through the same permission settings as everything else.

Does it need my password for anything?

No. You sign in to Google once per account, and what Google gives us is an access you can revoke from your Google settings at any moment. Your Anthropic key and those Google credentials are stored encrypted.
